Chris has lived in Revelstoke for more than a decade, moving from the Rockies, to take advantage of the incredible backcountry skiing that the area has to offer. He is a certified Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, (A.C.M.G), Ski Guide. Chris has extensive experience in mountain travel, avalanche hazard evaluation and management, and weather analysis. Chris is a rated paragliding instructor and tandem pilot and one of the founders of a local paragliding business. He also works as a certified rigger, a high angle rock scaler, a tree planter and a faller. He has worked in the heli-ski industry for the past five years and has spent close to a hundred days a year, for the past twenty years, in the backcountry on skis, giving him an intimate knowledge of the surrounding mountains. Also an avid climber and ice climber Chris has visited many remote peaks in the Canadian Rockies and areas around Revelstoke. Chris enjoys working with the diverse and experienced guides at Eagle Pass as well as the incredible ski terrain and vast tenure. He is passionate about skiing and keen to share the heli ski experience with you!
