Griffin Lake Mountain Lodge

Your Hosts - Wayne and Heather Harvey

Wayne and Heather purchased the property that they built into what is now Griffin Lake Lodge in September, 1999. Their love and appreciation of nature inspired them to leave their careers and 2 adult children in Edmonton to pursue their dream of living on a lake in the mountains. This in turn inspired them to begin a business where they could share their incredibly beautiful surroundings with people from around the world. They dedicated countless hours into turning an industrial building, formerly used for milling lumber and constructing outdoor furniture, into a mountain retreat where their guests would be able escape the hectic pace of everyday life. They opened for business in July of 2000 with 3 lodge rooms and over the course of the following 7 years have added another room to the lodge and built an additional 3 cabins. They operate as a B&B during the summer months and as the accommodation and hospitality provider for Eagle Pass Heliskiing during the winter seasons. Their passion is meeting and welcoming guests to their lodge, making them feel welcome, insuring they are comfortable and providing the quintessential Canadian mountain experience. They say they are very fortunate in that they have many guests who return time and again, which makes what they do worth every minute.
