Curiosity and the sheer beauty of the alpine environment have enticed me to explore what's on the other side—not to mention the sensation of floating on powder snow.
Modern day adventure is fleeting, the world has become smaller and life easier, yet, the mountains remain untamed. I revel in their wildness and respect their majesty - after all when we travel through them, we are, but, subjects to their will.
I run a small off the grid hobby farm in the Slocan Valley, BC and practice the family trade of carpentry in the off-season.
